2026 Sino-Foreign Engineers Engineering Capacity Building Program (Intelligent Manufacturing) Official Notice
To deepen international exchanges and cooperation in the engineering industry, build a high-quality communication and mutual learning platform for domestic and foreign engineers, and comprehensively upgrade engineers’ professional competency and technical capabilities, the Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE) launches the 2026 Sino-Foreign Engineers Engineering Capacity Building Program (Intelligent Manufacturing). The program will be held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, in accordance with the official work arrangements of the Chinese Society of Engineers. Relevant details are announced as follows:

Duration: October 25 – 30, 2026 (including 1 day for on-site registration and 1 day for departure arrangement)
Venue: Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China
Total Credit Hours: 32 class hours (eligible for CPD credit recognition)
Host: Chinese Society of Engineers (CSE)
Organizer: Continuing Professional Development Committee of Chinese Society of Engineers, Jiangxi Association for Science and Technology, Jiangxi Engineer Association（JXEA）, Belt and Road International Federation of Engineering and Technology Organizations (in preparation)
Supporter: National Virtual Reality Innovation Center, Jiangling Group New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., Fuzhou Science and Technology Achievement Transfer and Commercialization Center of Jiangxi Province
The program has a total quota of 60 participants, including 20 foreign engineers and 40 Chinese engineers. Eligible participants are professionals engaged in intelligent manufacturing and related fields with experience in internationally mutual-recognized engineers. All participants are required to have a minimum of 5 years of engineering practical experience and possess basic English communication proficiency.
Open to candidates recommended by overseas engineering institutions that have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) or Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) with the Chinese Society of Engineers. Recommended candidates shall be practicing engineers in the intelligent manufacturing sector, with in-depth knowledge of local engineering technologies and scientific and technological innovation practices relevant to the program theme.
Open to engineers recommended by member institutions and individual members of the Chinese Society of Engineers, as well as practitioners in intelligent manufacturing with Sino-Foreign cooperative engineering project experience. Candidates with overseas project experience and proficiency in international engineering standards will be given priority.
Places are limited. Shortlisted participants will receive individual official notification from the program organizing team.
Participants who complete all prescribed courses and meet the training requirements will be awarded an official certificate of the 2026 Sino-Foreign Engineers Engineering Capacity Building Program, issued by the Chinese Society of Engineers. The 32 class hours of training will be recognized as valid Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits for 2026, applicable to the CPD assessment requirements for members of the Chinese Society of Engineers.
This training program is free of charge for all admitted participants. Participants shall independently bear their round-trip transportation expenses and other personal incidental costs during the program.
